Coin collectors and financial gurus will be familiar with this rare coin design featured on the Vintage Buffalo Coin Cuff Links. The classic five cents coin has made history because it had a very short circulation due to its raised 'five cents' inscription which tended to wear away very quickly. Designer Charles Barber modified this classy design in the first year of the coin's circulation, but forgot to address the date which was set in relief and was thereby also subject to a lot of wear and tear!
